Short Film Submission

Terms & Conditions

By submitting to the Movie Screeners Club, you agree to the following:


  • You must own all rights and permissions for your film and its contents.

  • Submission fees are non refundable in all cases (withdrawal, reschedule, or if not selected).

  • Selection is not guaranteed due to limited runtime.

  • If selected, you must attend the screening in person and join the live Q&A. Monthly Audience Choice winners must also attend the December event to remain in the Champion lineup.

  • Audience Choice winners agree to participate in Festival promo, including interviews or highlight features.

  • Films must be provided as a DCP (scope format). Gardena Cinema charges a $50 conversion fee if you don’t provide one. The Festival is not responsible for DCP or projection issues at Gardena.

  • The Festival may use stills, trailers, or short clips for promotion.

  • The Festival does not pay screening fees or royalties.
