We open submissions monthly. Each month’s submissions are reviewed for the following screening.

What’s the runtime limit?

We accept films up to 15 minutes total runtime.

Yes! We welcome all genres and styles.

If I submit my film, is it considered all year?

Yes! One submission keeps your film in consideration for every monthly screening, space permitting.

Will my film definitely screen?

Accepted Answer

Not guaranteed. Our venue allows for 2 hours of programming per month, so selection is limited.

Can I submit again if my film wasn’t selected yet?

You don’t need to. Once submitted, your film stays in the consideration pool!

Can I submit more than one film?

Absolutely.

Question 8

If my film screens, do I automatically qualify for the finals?

Accepted Answer

Not automatically. Only the filmmaker who wins the Audience Choice Award for that month advances to the December Film of the Year showcase.

How many films play in December?

Accepted Answer

Typically 11 films (January through November winners). If a winner cannot attend or provide materials, the lineup may vary.

How does the audience vote work?

Accepted Answer

Audience members vote in-person at the end of each screening. The film with the most votes wins.

What format do you screen in?

Accepted Answer

We require A Digital Cinema Package (DCP). If selected, we’ll provide instructions for submitting or converting your film.
