How It Works

  • Monthly submissions accepted

  • Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis

  • Programming space is limited each month

  • Films not selected may be considered for future programming

  • Due to submission volume, only selected filmmakers will be contacted

Requirements

  • All genres and formats welcome

  • No AI-generated content

  • Most monthly selections are 15 minutes or under, but longer films may still be considered

Entry Fee

$15 (Non-refundable)

First-time submitters may use waiver code GARDENA

Awards

  • Each screening includes an audience vote

    • The top-voted film receives the Audience Choice Award

  • Monthly Audience Choice winners return in December to compete for Film of the Year

If Selected

  • Selected films must be delivered as a Scope DCP

    • Gardena Cinema offers DCP conversion for $50, if needed

  • Projection and playback are provided by the venue
